Warren Bennis says: “Integrity is the basis of trust . . . It is the one quality that cannot be acquired, but must be earned!” It has to do with faithfulness and self-control – and these values are among the fruits of the Holy Spirit in Paul´s letter to the Galatians 5;22-23.
Meditate on this today: Am I a trustworthy person? If not, am I willing to do something with it? Make a clear decision today to never say something that is not true and plan for something you know you will not do! Become a person that you, yourself trust! When you know inside of you that you can be trusted – you are at peace with yourself. When you know that you cannot be trusted, and are deceiving yourself and others – you know that you are a hypocrite – a false person and not honest towards yourself and others. You are not at peace with yourself and not at peace with God!
Repent today and turn around! By the power of The Holy Spirit you can become a new person – a person that lives out what you believe and speaks what is true in all situation! Then you will love yourself in another dimension because you trust yourself.
